Forsythia Plant. Pack the soil firmly around the roots. The pot must be of sufficient size and contain drainage openings at the bottom.
Forsythia needs at least 6 hours of full sun to flower. Choose a location where the plant will receive at least six hours of direct sunlight per day. Dig a hole at least 2 times wider than the root ball.
