Borage Plant. Even in warm climates where winter doesn’t kill off the plants, they’ll naturally die off after a year or so of growth after flowering for a long period and spreading seeds. You can lay it in the path of your garden where it can decompose and add organic matter to your soil, or toss it in the compost.
It is planted in most sunny gardens because it attracts many bees. It’s an easy plant to pull, and then you’ve got yourself an armful of mulch. It has a cottage garden feel and a delicious cucumber smell from its bristly foliage.
